To squonk, or not....?

I'm on the lookout for a new mod, I dipped my toe into squonking with the pulse but could never find the right build to have it compete with just dripping. I'm pretty sure this was down to my inexperience at the time.
I currently switch between an asmodus v2, hellvape trishul and noisy crickets v1 and 2. I love the simplicity of mechs and when using the asmodus only use it in vw mode. I mainly vape single coil mtl and dtl rdas, I use a good occasionally but not enough to need a 120w mod all the time. The workmanship alone makes me want to order a fyne mods 18650 squonk and just run that as my go to mod. My second choice is the asmodus luna. Any tips? Should I try again with squonking or just buy another asmodus

There's a Fyne mods switchfet in the classifieds The Pulse is shit to be honest, too much voltage drop to make it any good IMO. A decent mech squonker should be just as good as a decent mech dripper, it's just finding one that you like?

@Tilde Unfortunately the Fynemod squonker in the classies has gone, nice mods though thinking about one myself. I like the Asmodus Minikin V2's, have 3 of them, I also have both the Asmodus Pumper and Luna squonkers, both are good mods with the Pumper slightly edging it on design/function, good offer at SR Vapes just now about £80.

The Geekvape Athena is a very good starter mod. Fire button can be locked to prevent misfire & the supplied RDA is good too. £20-30 UK price at the moment.

It is a stupid name and an unnecessary complication to the beautiful simplicity of dripping.

This forum is all about being talked into buying stuff rather being talked out of buying stuff so enjoy your new squonker.

Thanks for all the tips. I ended up getting the lost vape furyan. So far it's impressive, also running the chtulu 1928 looking forward to seeing how it is on the 21700 once charged. I think the fyne mods may become a Christmas request
