Whilst we sit here in the UK anxiously waiting to see how the authorities here will interpret the TPD (as it relates to ecigs) with fingers crossed that sense will be seen/and/or TW's legal challenge will be successful

Or

Whilst we sit here in the UK posting hand checks of our vaping gear on social media blissfully unaware or thinking 'I'm alright Jack cos I'm sorted ta'

.....this via Alan Beard on FB who copied a Danish poster as follows:

*** NEW LAW ABOUT LEGALISING E-CIGARETTES IN DENMARK - IS IN FACT A DE FACTO BAN ON E-CIGARETTES AND NICOTINE ***
It's WORSE than we expected - the implementation in Denmark is FULL BLOWN TPD!!! NO exceptions - and vaping is going to be a part of "The Smoke-free Environment Act" - without any justification for the inclusion.
The proposed law (link to danish proposal-text below) will more or less make everything we use today forbidden to sell, buy and use.
Vaping is not allowed anywhere in public, no commercials allowed, and there is going to be put so many economic restrictions on the manufacturers and vendors: The costs for application/reporting of the products put for sale are astronomous - and no retailer/vendor will survive - and will have to close shop.
Right now we are speechless/shellshocked in Denmark, and don't really know what to do???
It seems like we're fighting in the dark, against an invisible enemy

I no longer have any desire to go back home. Fck the chunts, ignorant twats. ill shut up before i get a boot.

Exaactly what the powers that be here in the uk would like to do no doubt.

The worry is that, like skittles, all the others go the same way. I can hear the calls now..."Look the Danes are way ahead of the game! We must catch up" Much like the plain packaging debacle where Australia was first to implement and then quoted as the standard to be set. Despite the empirical evidence indicating little/no benefit

I'm still optimistic. But I have no idea why

Fuck........thats heavy.....

The implications are pretty clear :(

Their country, their policy....as long as it doesn't infringe on their citizen's human rights or other such bollocks they can pretty much get you to do what they want.....

No-one is forcing them to live in said country so the choice really is theirs.....either put up with it and stop moaning, or fuck off and live in another country.

;)
