Recently got a tsunami I've been trying to build it with a single coil to use on my reo without much success single coil 3mm internal diameter wire is 28 g kanthal fair few wraps comes in at 0.5.just doesn't seem to be vapeing like it should. But if I put the tsunami on my dripbox and run it at around 60 watts it's lovely. May just keep it on there .My velocity runs on my reo at our. 5 same coil just fine.don't think I'm used to the bottom airflow.

Sorry mate, I cannot help but I can say mine is excellent on my Dripbox 60 and my 160 but I use dual coil, 10 wraps of I cannot remember what at the moment!

I struggle with the Tsunami too, and oddly enough, the Velocity is my go to atty as well....
I can't help but feel that the immense chamber on the Tsunami doesn't lend itself well to low power vaping, I reckon it needs a big buck-boosted kick up the bum to get the best performance from it.

Running mine with a single clapton @0.4 ohm on the Therion BF at the mo, and it's going like a charm :)

I'm beginning to think it needs the constant power of a vv/vw device I'll leave it on the dripbox just now..

I have one Tsunami 24 with dual fused Clapton's in it (about .18ohms) and it kicks some major flavour arse.
The other is on my SCNDRL with a *.**ohm build in it and it's a feisty, flavoursome brute. I love the Tsunami almost as much as my Kennedy's.

I've got a dual in mine on a mech, using comp wire tiger wire, 4mm ID can't remember how many wraps at 0.22 ohms and it's fantastic with a full battery.

I've just got around to getting one of these and it's literally blown my away. Easy to build and wick, with kick arse flavour and more clouds than you'd get at a meeting of drunken pyromaniacs.

This has shot straight to No1 for my Squonking needs. Buying another is a must.

ive been struggling with mine too, I have a halcyon dna 200. and I cant find a good build to run at about 40w. trying to make the battery life last as long as I can. but I'm struggling with getting a good vape too

I'm not sure you're ever going to get a definitive answer because what constitutes a good vape for you might not be another persons cup of tea. Personally, i'd find a build that gives me a good vape first and after that the battery life is what it is.

you make a good point, that's actually what I did, I built a dual 24g twisted, 6 wrap. ohms at .21 vaping at 90w. and yes, the battery life is what it is...
