What's new

uk made mods on horizon

I'm interested in anything British made. As long as I can shove at least an 18650 in the tube I'm on it. I'm also hoping to have a lathe in the gords cave by the end of the year so I'm going to trt making something for myself at least.

18650 is one of the options on it,few details so far to tbf at 60 all in I'm in;-)

I'm going to head over for a look now. I was in a cnc shop for a few weeks recently. They took quite an interest in my mods (vaping was allowed anywhere inside) and did say that they would be easy to make (I'll bet with the gear in there) but you'd need an initial order of a few thousand to justify the cnc time lol.

I'm not sure mrs gords would be happy with me remortgaging the house to get myself a mod even if I sold them all.

But would the profits cover a good solicitor?

I never even went that far. I'm cheap, for a cnc run I would want the design to sell for abour the hundred pounds mark, I'd hope for it to be something fairly simple, but to be popular it would need to be 18350 to 18650 kick compatible, personally I like telescopics over modular, bits lying about bother my ocd, but what I would really want to do is single tube, magnetic switch, m20x1mm threading, and as low a volt drop as possible.

I do intend to turn a mod purely for myself, I have some odd sized cells and I'd like to get one in a mod, they have a continuous draw limit of 60 amps....

I must admit, I do keep looking at the price of aluminium tubing, as well as brass and copper...

An ally bodied mod, with brass top and bottom, with a copper switch and positive pin, would be very very cheap to make materials wise... ;)
