Uwell Crown 5 - Cant seem to remove glass?

I've been using the Uwell Crown 5 for awhile now and really love it for the flavour, I don't seem to get any leaks either which is always a plus!
The main downside is it really loves to drink juice so id like to try and get a bubble glass or expansion glass for it somehow. The 2ml capacity can easily be blown through in less than an hour and im sure its affecting the coil life and flavour.
However I've tried to remove the glass to see if I have anything compatible (the crown 4 glass looks a very close fit, if it does then I don't have to order a crown 5 glass!). I cannot seem to loosen it even slightly though.
Other than getting some pliers and a screwdriver to hold it in place I'm not sure what to do, if i use this method I'm more worried about scratching the tank or cracking the glass.
Has anyone else had issues removing the glass or have any advice/experience with the crown 5?

When I have a stubborn glass, I put my finger in the chimney and squeeze the glass and chimney together. This normally solves the problem.
