Vamo v5 beauty ring

Hi people.
Had a bit of a dilemma with my earotank and vamo. Ended up having the beauty ring stuck inside the broken bottom part of my tank. .

Anyhow. Is it possible to purchase a new beauty ring for the vamo v5? I did have a little search around but couldnt find much.

Looks silly with new tank on and massive gap lol.

Anyone know of any nicer alternatives or a place to grab a new beauty ring from ?

Top man. Yea should be ok. Im currently using the spare extention ring thingy I got with my astro.

I like my vamo abit too much. Shame I messed up the ring with pliers. Live and learn I spose.

Anyone useing he kangertech aerotank? Word of advice. Dont drop it. It breaks away the bottom part of the tank . Protank 3 any vood?

I use my protank3 on my Vamo5 no complaints with the tank.. but I am fighting a loosing battle trying to rebuild the dual coil heads..

I can get the dual coils right & the ohms.. but I cant get them to wick properly on cotton (Like my EVODS & Mini protank heads)

I see anthonyb pointed you in the right direction for stealth vape.. I am waiting for the St/St Vamo V3 ring to come back in stock as it does not have the taper top like the V5, so will look neater with RBA's..

Also a good trick is to screw the beauty ring that comes with your protank3 onto the vamo5 then add the vamo top ring, that gives a much better fit for the tanks.. Stealth vape also do an OCD washer to fill the gap completely..

I normally put my tank on and twist the ring up a tad to meet the tank. Eliminates the gap.

I personally havnt rewickd a dual coil kanger coil but I have been messing with rdas. I got a 30a sony battery and a astro and k101. Got down to 0.5 ohm and produces a stooooopid amount of vapour lol. Dont like messing witn the sub ohm stuff but its fun to see how much vapour u can make.

I use cotton wick too on them as the flavour seems to be better. Not with proper menthol though as it can take ur breath away. Like inhaling an entire tube of colgate

Hey guys whats the Vamo V5 like? currently vaping on a mvp 2.0 and wondering whether to upgrade to the vamo.

Not tried a mvp so I can't compare, but I love my Vamo5 apart from the tappered top collar/ring as mentioned above but its only a couple of quid for a straight one from Stealth Vape.. and thats only because it sets my OCD off as its not flush with a 22mm atty lol..

Yeah im the same like mine flush as well. Just looks smarter. MVP is ok lot better than my vv v3. Will have to look into the V5. Thanks for you help Ditch

I have tried and tried to do Protank3 heads, with cotton no joy.. can get target ohms every time, but they wont wick.. the draw is so tight and it just burns the cotton, just needs less cotton.. I know the solution, I just cant get it right.. lol

Maybe I should try a thinner juice, I have been trying with 60VG/40PG DIY mixes..

Have you tried an airflow controller for your protank 3. Might open up the airflow a little so its less tight and improve wicking.
