Hi guys. I've got 3 Pulse 22s and have been very happy with them until recently. On 2 of them, the casing has become stuck to the base. Absolutely rock solid, I can't get the to cap off to re-wick.
Other than a set of pliers, does anyone have any bright ideas?

I know what you mean mate this has happened to me.
The problem is you need to screw it on a mod to get the thing off. It would be handy to have a 510 securely fitted on a bit of wood or something for situations like this.
I put it on an old beater mod and used elastic bands round it. Then of course you have to unscrew it from the mod lol

Yeah, mine get stuck sometimes. I've got a fixed 510 in a tufnol base. Screw it on that and then hold it with a rag and wiggle it off while pulling hard . It won't twist off as it has two lining up notches at the base and also if you twist it the air pipes will mess your coil up.
Brute force is what is needed unfortunately.

I always lube it up real nice every time I rebuild it, and it helps, but obviously if you leave it for a while it can stick again.

I removed one of the O rings on the base on all 3 of mine. No leaks & only occasionally get stuck. When that happens, as has already been advised, screw it onto an old ohm reader & twist off with rag.

The Pulse 22 has a real problem with this, the worst i've come across which is a shame as otherwise its a great rda.

I've got an old tube mech I use exclusively for stuck top caps, and my kitchen gloves have rubber strips on them - between the two I can get the job done but it is a first class ball ache.
