think whoever sent the email got it wrong or Royal mail sent it up by jet.

This is supposed to be the new version as advertised on here by the vendor. if that is true then why does it have the old small screen.
I bought this under the ilussion it was the new version with the working revised chip

It is version 1 and not the new chip vendor has got me a replacement. I found out the hard way that it was not the new chip..
This is not the vendors fault it is down to who ever sent them the devices IE vapor shark
 
ATTENTION: We had two customers reporting back to us, that they experienced all the same problems as with the old chip.


Vaporshark guaranteed to us that all the known problems of the chip have been resolved with this 2nd batch production. We've tested three products ourselves (out of 50) and they worked without any problems. So I'm shocked to hear about these two cases. Unfortunately, it seems like there are still faulty devices in this 2nd batch.


Please be careful while using or charging your device to see if there is any issue. STOP immediately, if you notice anything strange!! Be very careful, NOT to put the battery upside down into the device!

I've written to all our customers to warn them.
We started to investigate these two cases with Vaporshark and they will get an immediate replacement. I sincerely hope that there aren't anymore problems and will keep this thread updated as soon as I hear back more from VS.

If you have any in stock would you mind re checking a few of them? Extremely worrying news for such a great vendor, fingers crossed for when mine arrives (Royal Mail), you can claim for the postage btw

I'm new to this game but for a premium-priced product, Vaporshark sure seem to have a few QC issues.

Was yours heating up during charging, if so how long after charging?
