Vapours-r-us reviews !!!

I've had a re think after mixing (and, now, vaping) my first couple of V-R-Us concentrates, Dandelion & Burdock, and Raspberry. I mixed them at a bog standard 20% which, at first, was very much OK.
A few days on, and I'm feeling they could do with a smidgin more. I've just mixed up Sarsaparilla and Rhubarb & Custard @25%. Time will tell.

TIC TAC ORANGE.....
got this friday so mixed some up last night (sat)
mixed at 50/50 vg/pg at 20% and upped my nic to 12mg on this mix as im caning the juice..
whisked it to a very nice milky froth bottled it and left it overnight.
its now 9pm so its had a good 24 hours. shook then opened the bottle and got a faint whiff of oranges (hmm not too impressed). recoiled and wicked the kfl with cotton and also upped the ohms to 1.7. filled the tank stuck it onto my tesla mech with a fresh 18650 battery and had a nice long draw.
its definately oranges. more satsumas to me with a hint of tictac on the exhale. vapour prodution is decent about right for the mix.could of maybe done this one at 15% as its a little strong and i like strong flavours.
will finish the tank and give it a few more days to see if anything exciting happens.
to sum up. it is definately orange tictac im not too sure. strong flavouring yes. good vapour. and lets be honest for £2.99 delivered for 30ml its ridiculously cheap. 7/10

Rhubarb & Custard - Update

Well, folks, I well and truly made a pigs ear of this one!
I took a gamble, and mixed this @ 25%. I have been mixing other VR-us concentrates at 20% which have been OK, but a couple of them could have done with just a tad more.
Obviously the Rhubarb & Custard did NOT need more!
Vaping it after a 6 day steep, 25% concentrate, 14mg, 60pg/40vg. It is 100% unvapeable and definitely the worst, most nauseating e-liquid I have ever tried!! Think of everything that could ever be bad in a flavour, and this has got the lot!! You would have to severely dislike someone to even consider giving it away!
I've got another batch mixed and steeping @ 5% so I can mix and match to get 15% using the shit I have already and will see if it's any better.

ps. The Sarsaparilla, as mentioned in my previous post, is not bad @25% but a bit too liquoricey for my personal tastes, so, again, 20% would be in the ball park. It's a very decent flavour.

UPDATE - Tried this Rhubarb & Custard concentrate @ 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% - conclusion? Simply Un vapeable! The worst thing I have ever vaped, and I've vaped some pretty naff juices!

The Eton mess i had i have given away to people just to see if they think its a bad as i thought. Been 2 months steeping and just smells like one of those made up experiments you used to do in a chemistry set when you were a kid.

The Bakewell tart on the other hand is very nice. Started off a bit harsh but has mellowed over time (only a week). It tastes pretty nice on its own but am going to try mixing a small amount of black cherry in the next lot to see how it works out.

Received my order of:
Honey
Sticky toffee pudding
Toffee
Dandelion and burdock
Sarsaparilla
Peach
Strawberry
Custard
Apple
Grape
Earl Grey Tea

So far tried sticky toffee pudding, honey, strawberry & dandelion on trident & stingray - all blended at 20% in an 20/80 PG/VG mix at 7mg & very early findings are that:
honey is quite authentic, a bit sickly on its own, but so is honey! Will blend well
Strawberry is OK, taste is fine, though not very intense at 20%
Sticky Toffee pudding a bit disappointing, not a huge amount of flavour
Dandelion & Burdock - not unpleasant, but not very authentic flavour. Has a strong citrus flavour that doesn't belong in D&B
Grape - pretty convincing grape flavour, the flavour of grape flavour things (which have never seemed to taste anything like grapes, which seem quite flavourless in comparison).
Apple doesn't have a lot of flavour - really not strong enough to assess the authenticity of the apple flavour, though I think I can get a little apple coming through
Peach - pretty strong, pretty peachy!
Sarsaparilla - excellent. Strong & authentic
Earl Grey Tea - quite a strange taste for a vape, but I can certainly get the Earl grey. The tea and citrus come through well
Custard - on its own, it wouldn't win any prizes, but no prizewinning custard is without some additional ingredients. I'd like to reserve judgement until I've had chance to play with some blends & add some sweet & creamy flavours. I think it may have some potential
Toffee - this is really nice. The best toffee I've used.

how did you get on with the custard ?

Vapours r us

Aha! it's them! just realised i've bought a couple of their concentrates on ebay, skittles and forest fruits.

not very strong but for the money they're not bad.

Looks like i'll grab the honey on payday.
