Hi guys

Have recently bought a veritas based on a few good posts here.
It's unlike anything I've ever coiled before, I'm pretty sure i can figure it out but if any veritas owners can give me pointers or upload a pic of their build, I'd be very grateful.

I've attached pictures in a thread not so long ago, can't find the buggers now.

Keep it simple, single horizontal in front of the big hole, one leg to top post nut and other leg to either of the screws on the base.

Dual parallel if feeling adventurous

Will a single horizontal not have a horrendously long leg going to the top nut?

I've never put a horizontal build into either of mine.
This is 10 wraps of 0.5mm Kanthal around a 3.5mm former ... gives me 1 ohm.
Also works well with 0.4mm Kanthal around a 3.0mm former, but I love the huge slice of wick I can get in the 3.5mm coil.

I like working with the thicker wire, gives you the chance to bend it into shape, particularly the top leg around the positive post.

Thanks for the info guys, and thanks scrumpox for the pic, I'm gonna order some thicker kanthal and replicate, thickest I have is .3 at the mo so will twist it for now until I get thicker
