bit confused as to the shipping cost being 6.95 though for Standard when the shipping page says it £2.95

You know what that could be I reckon, I think C9V charge for special delivery for items over a certain price, so, my guess is that the mod may be coded in to the old price for shipping...I could be completely wrong though.
