Yeah it certainly is a minefield. That's the only problem with there being more kit, knowing what is good and what isn't. I would recommend the 30W iStick as it is a really small, easy to use and lightweight device. It will fire the new sub-ohm tanks that are becoming popular now and it should last a good time. For £35 or so you can't go wrong IMO. That's only the cost of 4 packs of fags or pouches of tobacco. As long as you don't succumb to shinyitis then vaping can still be a lot cheaper than smoking. Set up costs may be a little high but look at the long term and work out what you can afford and budget accordingly. If you are on a budget then don't get the subtank style devices, the consume eliquid too rapidly. If this sounds sensible then just go for the 20W iStick, you can get them for £7 less. 20W is more than enough power, it just has a slightly smaller battery and won't fire subohm tanks from what I can remember. IMO it is more important to spend more money on getting a good few tanks as this allows you to have several juices on the go at once, especially when giving up smoking be able to use different flavours makes when you get the urge makes quitting a lot easier.
