What could we do better?

@Digbys Did I understand your response earlier, you'd consider concentrates of your flavours? If so, as a mixer, I'd be very interested in that :2thumbsup:

yeah me too, I would buy a bottle of Oriental Plunder concentrate tomorrow. I think with things as they are there's no downside to having concentrates, years back I could see why companies wouldn't want to do it. ... but now, it's just an extra market. There must be a fair amount of people like us who just don't really buy made liquid any more.

The mixing percentage is a big thing for me though, I have a one shot here that mixes at 20%, that's 12ml to make a 60ml bottle.. when the concentrate comes in a 30ml bottle, that kind of annoys me, I make a couple of 60ml bottles with it and it's almost all gone. By the time you add VG and PG (and use your own bottles) it's not saving much over just buying 60ml short-fill bottles and just adding the nic.

They need to be down at 10 or 12% max for them to seem like a good buy to me. @Digbys ... if that's even possible.

I've bought a fair amount of made liquid over the last year (since joining POTV), from Digbys, Manabush, LegioX and PrimeVapes, my way of showing support. Er, I have nearly 100 bottles of their stuff (said in the nicest endearing fashion), steeping away and backups. Oops. Thing is, I was buying 1ltr of concentrate for £80 and mixing up 100ml bottles with nic for less than £2.50 (probably nearer £2, but hey, not splitting hairs) and was happy with what I was vaping. Looking at my stash the other day made me have a long hard think.

I don't expect it to be sold at cost, there's magic in them mixes. But I would like to think the concentrate route would save some over shortfils :) We can live in hope.

Sure you can zoom in, but it fails on basic legibility metrics, whoever thought orange on a white background needs shooting.

This was me, I need shooting... It supposed to only show the orange on white for little things like icons etc, not sure why it's done it on txt, where was this btw? Just so I can fix

On the 50ml shortfills page also the nic shot and 10ml pages.

Bring back Red Bread.

@Simon G put me onto it ages ago along with Oriental Plunder. I only have about 5ml of RB left and you'd already stopped making it when I bought it. I'm afraid to vape it because I know I won't be able to buy any more.

1. add a tick box on selection page or checkout offering a 10ml nic shot or a 10ml nic salt shot maybe with discount for buying with a shortfill (2No. for 100ml etc)

2. salts - thought about the 10ml range in nic salt form, alot of the disposable generation are vaping salts due to disposables, I for one (not disposable generation more oldish twat generation) would like to see your range in 10/20mg salts as I dont get on with freebase at all and generally always mix my shortfills with nic salt shots for 3mg and I buy the 20mg nic salt ranges

3. a competitor offers to double your order if your order number ends in a 5 (brilliant idea and a little lottery) but good incentive to buy direct not saying the same offer but maybe come up with something similar

4. maybe bring the free delivery order value down to around the £25-30 mark, suppose it depends on costs etc

5. free sweeties with orders always go down well

just some suggestions hope they help

"Like I said I'm not a business person and this may be super idealistic, but I always felt that all the small UK independents should get together and have a shared website, where people can order from all those brands at the same time in one place and just work together in a more co-operative way."

This is a very insightful comment. The whole point of vaping is getting people of cigs, the easier way business owners can do this the better. It seems that today owners have lost this perspective and, maybe rightly so been more concerned about money, which obviously they need to keep the business going. keep it simple get the new generation of smokers of the cigs and your business will grow ;) Offer new users to your site a selection of 10lm juices so they can find what they need to kick the habit, and be available for those new users to ask questions etc.

Spot on. So many sellers seem to have forgotten the origins of vaping. Actually giving up the filthy fags.
The disposables are going all out for the bright pinks and the neon bloody greens. They look childish, a fad, they are expensive and bad for the env.
Id ask for guest testers, both MTL and DTL - a weekly or monthly flavour profile feature
Maybe feature a ex smoker whos been helped by vaping to quit
Id also push tthe benefits of RTA/RBAs a bit more too. Pods, coils etc can all be overwhelming and the costs mount up.. For example I only really heard about rebuilds when I joined here, and the advice was and still is invaluable. Learnng about that led me to shortfills and an interesting hobby.

You're going to have to call it Clown Shoe now, I insist :D
CTRL and + key is your friend ;)

As for the combined site idea, I think these would be great to have all in the same place:

Digby's
Manabush
LegioX
Prime Vapes
Tub Thumping Brews/Bristol Vapes
Cotswold Vapour
Daddy Pig Smoke Juice

Certainly the first 4 as they're pretty much the POTV suppliers.

We'd be up for it, I'm sure :D

@Digbys The King was the first juice I ever tried that made me realise good juice was possible

As for the disposables point mentioned earlier, we have a couple of retail stores and thankfully sales seem to be reverting back to pod devices slowly but surely, for us at least. It's always amazing to me how many customers rock up with extinction rebellion stickers plastered all over their car and purchase a load of disposable vapes.
