Yeah that's what swung it for me, does it perform well as a single coil? Don't get too many people using a coil on it so I ended up taking a punt.

Wasn't brilliant on the OG & the decks bigger on the 1.5 so legs are spread further. I've tried coils in both & soon binned the idea as, although there is the option to use coils, both are designed around mesh.

Got a Profile 1.5 delivered today. Pretty good chance I'm not going to like it very much but I felt like I needed a Mesh RDA for the Squonk and it was a bargain

I had 2 Profile 1.5 arrive this week and at the moment i prefer the OG, have 4 of them. With my OG's i have never suffered from over squonking but i am with the 1.5's. I am certain my wicking is correct so i think the air holes are lower on the 1.5 and that coupled with a flatter cotton on a wider base means when i squonk there is extra juice in the chamber that the cotton does not soak up as the cotton is thinner and so the juice rises and comes out of the lower air holes, Just my thoughts and i probably need to adjust how i squonk with it.

Don't have a problem with mine, adjust slightly for soft/firm bottles. Using the same amount of cotton I find the 1.5 better as more juice gets absorbed from under the deck as opposed to purposely part flooding the OG due to the suck back.

I use the same amount of cotton it is just a different shape in the 1.5, wider and flatter, I need more squonk discipline whereas i don't with the OG. As i say i probably need to adjust how i squonk it.

I'm enjoying it, do agree with you @Martvb60 that you have to be more disciplined with squonking it, mind you I'm new to squonking and have been using the passage so haven't had to focus too much on finesse just yet. So yeah could have done with a slightly deeper juice well. The top air flow is stupid and it's such a blatant issue it's amazing it was released like it, it's also a bit hard to see where it is in low light so some sort of exterior indicator would have been nice. Most importantly though there's no stainless steel mesh with it which is a bit nuts and Wotofo's packaging still sucks too lol.

Having said all that I am still enjoying it but would probs go for the OG profile if I were to buy again, but if I couldn't find one I would still pick up the 1.5.

I had two ,I Thought the rdta's were great but a pain until you new how to wick and not leak, i like temp control in mesh.(got spools of various vandy vape ss mesh) on the digipros, Found the digiflavour mesh pros outperformed it by miles,more wick than a sleeping bag has padding but that was me.
