What's new

What have you noticed yourself saving money on?

Hmm I must be saving money and I feel so much better for giving up analogs. I say hmm because I seem to be addicted to spending a fortune now on mods, juices, catomisers etc etc -- happy days :-)

It only cost me £80 a month to smoke as I would buy 50grams of tobacco a week, some times I could get thru it in 4 days but would try to make it last me all week, so I haven't saved yet and this is my 8th week of vaping, spent about £240 on juice so far and £200 on accessories, but now I'm set for at least 6months, I don't think I will save much as it didn't cost me alot to smoke but I'm glad I quit coz I can finally breath properly after 11 years x

I haven't saved ANY money, quite the opposite, I'm now totally skint on vaping kits acquisition!!!! And it goes on.......

I used to spend about £50 - £100 of fags or tobacco every month. I've been lucky I haven't spent a lot, was given an MVP itaste (version one.....its ok 2.0 is miles better) probably spent £50 on an assortment of batteries, have more CE4's & CE3's than i actually want (don't like top coil) & was given a lot of juice. The only thing i have really bought is a kanger pro tank 2 for my MVP & a couple of bottom coil clearos for my daily vape. Really want to buy a Vamo V5 & kayfun light style RBA. I just need to get my bonus from work :P

I've been vaping for just over two years now and, although it doesn't feel like I've saved any money, I must have saved loads! When I smoked, a bought baccy AND my toys and gadgets, now I only buy toys and gadgets and seem to have enough pocket money to buy any gadgets that I feel like (seeing as my toys are now primarily vaping related). Might sound daft to some, but the best 'saving' about vaping for me is time and thought! I love not having to make a special effort to go out and buy baccy and never having to think about whether I have enough 'fag-papers'. When I smoked, the only times that I could enjoy that kind of freedom was when I was flush enough to afford 'a carton of 200' and even then, the freedom only lasted 10 days. Must not forget, of course, that vaping has saved me the frustration of standing behind hoards of extremely slow pensioner scratch card addicts just to buy a packet of amber leaf.

I am in debt, not credit, big time. I didn't spend much on baccy as I only went through a small pouch a week and usually the stuff that fell off the back of a lorry but am spending a small fortune on vaping gear...and juice...oh don'y even get me started. Still, I am mixing my own now. or starting to anyways. Lemon Sherbet sweeties was my first attempt :D

I've saved a bit, in the sense that I'm (slightly) less overdrawn than I was a year ago. BUT...

Most of the spending has gone on hardware, either vaping gear or tools. Things that don't burn away to ash. My vape stand is nearly full, there's only a couple of atties I still want to pick up, and I only buy pre-made juice when I have a little vape budget left over. I'm not seeing a whole lot more stuff I want to spend on. This is just over six months after I graduated from cig-alikes and pre-filled cartos, and I've still spent less than I would have done, smoking. I actually under-spent my vape budget last month.

Famous last words, I know - but it is just possible that over the next six months, I'll see some money actually saved. If not, it will most likely have been spent on more things.
