What sort of Mixer are you?

Maybe this needs reviving as we have a lot of mixers who'd not even heard of vaping when the last post was, well, posted.
I'm a tweaker with an ambition to be a gourmet.
I mix like I cook, don't like it, add something else, think it needs to be better, add another flavour.
I'm also thinking of making some ready-mixed I don't like into something I do, but the fake tobacco has had it. Can't do anything with them, loathe the taste as I hate all but steeped tobacco now.
They won't be chucked though, will be put in trades sometime.

LOL... I hate menthol but it's very handy with a cold that stops you tasting anything else. Last cold, got some just so I could get that pipe-cleaning medicine taste, couldn't stand it so added to the best of my bad tobaccos. Don't know if it was luck, menthol or the fake tobacco but the cold was killed with just 5 ml vaped.
Definately a tweaker, but an impatient one as I've just started the mixing journey.

It's a British thing (ii.e. also done with good tobaccos)

souse the bad tobacco with caramel flavour and / or / vanilla /dulce de leche /bavarian cream / maple syrup / sweetener - have I missed anything ?​

im a mix of left fielder and dabbler, random flavours, different steeping methods, different mixes of PG/VG, additives (i only have EM crystals at the mo but ill get more soon) i never thought cherry and cinnamon would go together for example, but it actually does work fairly well. my fruit salad wasnt so great though, ive made several bottles of juice that ive simply thrown away because they didnt work and i only have so many bottles (on that note must remember, buy more bottles!)

Cherry and cinnamon... that's an idea. Thought coffee or apple with it but not cherry.
I aim for 50/50 PG/VG but if I tweak too much it ends up 60/40 or more. I'm a conservative tweaker with a touch of pinch and dabble plus gourmet desires, so wouldn't think of putting things together if I didn't think they'd go.

it worked better than i expected to be honest. apple and cinnamon is awesome, thats one i highly recommend, id say yes to coffee too but ive yet to get a decent coffee concentrate (if anyone has suggestions im listening) when i find one itll probably be coffee+cinnamon+maple syrup and maybe a cream flavour of some sort i think

Hurray! RY4 has just been invented.

Nope. Brits buy a perfectly decent RY-4, find they really like it and then do all those things to it.

There are quite a few decent coffee concentrates:

Espresso - FA is my favourite but PA's isn't far behind it
Coffee - The most rounded and easy I have found is the Inawera one (marked Kawa and not in the Wera Garden range)

If you want a really strong concentrate for mixing then either of the following will do it:

Kona Coffee (PA)
Coffee (Wera Garden)

But beware with the latter two - overdo them and they taste foul - best start with both at 2% add 5% saturated EM solution and steep for a few days. Get it right and you'll get a good filter coffee machine type flavour from both. For mixing htough - they are robust and certainly wouldn't get knocked out by cinnamon. Hope that helps.

DV Doppio Espresso? It's good, maybe because it's caffeinated. Sold ready-made and as concentrate. That's the only really good coffee I've found. Apple and cinnamon are automatic go-togethers. I can't try anything with cinnamon until I manage to buy some. Do vendors run out of all popular concentrates within days now because so many are mixing?

Why? If you really like it why change it? If you don't like it, it makes sense to make it into more like RY6 (never tried that though) or something else.
Making a bad tobacco into RY4 makes more sense but it's not the easiest of flavours. That's what I was thinking, loathe a tobacco, love RY4, try to turn the tobacco into it.
