What's new

What sort of Mixer are you?

it took me forever to find cinnamon too and then i had to resort to the totally wicked red label stuff, but its not a bad concentrate but a bit pricey compared to others, only got a 5ml bottle though. and yeah it seems flavourings go fast, ive made a couple of orders at liberty flights, who list the stock they have in at the time for each item and the speed at which things run out is quite amazing, sometimes you have to grab stuff when you can or scour the far reaches of the net to get hold of that one missing component

and Bryan123456 you may be right, it may be that i was mixing it too strong, the lowest i took it was 5% as i find most of the PA flavourings quite weak so id just written it off, maybe i need to give it another go.

I did find one cinnamon, Capella, but it was described as 'red hot cinnamon' and it was next to Jalapeno.
That kinda put me off.

Emba, I found I had to double up on PA bitter-sweet chocolate in order to get more than a hint, then it tasted just like the fake chocolate pre-mixed. Maybe I didn't wait long enough, only a day when it should have been two, but after adding a few drops (25%) of Bavarian Cream (also PA) it became a chocolaty cream. Won't even look at it for another couple of days, don't think this will change dramatically in that time.

I'm thinking of getting tobacco to steep (leaves, not rolling) and vanilla pods. For some odd reason the real thing seems less popular than concentrates so more chance of getting it. I can't order something the moment new stock comes in and by the time I get paid it's out of stock. So most of my concentrates are the unpopular ones which leaves me with having to be creative.

Hopefully somebody will keep more stock soon, or more companies will sell popular concentrates. I've got most of the bases I want but can't find the main flavours anywhere. For example, full Capella stock a week ago, couple of days ago, hardly anything. I have DV3 (never seen pre-mixed for sale, never tasted) because that was the closest I could get to RY4 for a recipe that specifies Hangsen. Can get that, but company sells 20ml bottles for £7 plus P&P and I don't want anything else they sell. Same recipe calls for PA Belgian Waffle, sold out so I got ordinary waffle. Also calls for PA Graham Cracker but I can only find imported Capella. So to try and make the original recipe I need to add the bits missing, and even DV4 is nothing like RY4.

I thought I'd just be able to buy a few concentrates, base, PG, couple of other things and make what I wanted without having to hunt high and low.
Oh well, if it was that easy everybody would be doing it, although from the stock problems it seems as though everybody is.

Dv4 is very floral and very different from hangsen. I had the same dilemma as it wa the only flavour I wanted from them but it is worth it. If it is from cig-eliquid they do really good squeezy bottles too (they are the only place I've found that does these-I hate those brittle non squeezy bottles). The other ingredients you can probably get away with, and you can't got too far wrong with most of the Capella range but for a base ry4 flavour hangsen is the best by a very long way. Trust me you will definately notice the difference :) it can be a nightmare getting just the right flavours for a particular recipe!

im not sure how much shipping costs but you can buy direct from perfumers apprentice they always have stock and the prices are pretty low, havent ordered there myself yet though (in fact i only just this second found out) heres the link:

you can also order direct from flavour art, in fact direct from them is the only way ive seen to get some of their more insane flavours (bonemarrow anyone? no? how about anchovy then?) but i have heard that it can take quite a long time to get to you, theyre also not particularly cheap

PF, all RY4 of all brands were out of stock every time I looked. I tried DV4, know somebody who loves it, but not for me. I'd desctibe it as popcorny rather than floral, shows how different people are. But even DV4 was out of stock! Well, the concentrate. I can buy everything ready-mixed, saves short-term, costs a lot long-term, and I meddle with ready-made juices too.

I went to cig-eliquid but been closed for a while due to sickness, so went to Leisure Liquids instead as I wanted cheaper nic base than Liberty Flights. Last base was from LF and I had to buy two 30 ml bottles, didn't want 250 ml to start with, 30 was too little and guess what, 60 ml out of stock. Leisure Liquid charges the same as Cig-eliquid so I picked what flavours I could from there, as I'm spending too much getting stuff in and need to hang onto money for winter power bills and nicvapes base, trying to spend a little at a time, which probably ends up meaning spending more.

Why, oh why, does the only UK Hangsen concentrate stockist stock nothing else? I don't want anything Hangsen but RY4 and a single 20 ml bottle will make me enough to last a while, it's only half the flavouring in the recipe but I don't want to pay much P&P on a single bottle.
That recipe is very nice, I was sent a made-up sample, and brands are given for everything. All PA apart from the RY4, which is Hangsen. So I can get Hangsen, but have to make an order for a single bottle... they don't even sell drptips or Bauway 306 drippers to bulk the order with something useful. The rest I can get, but from Capella when it should be PA, apart from the special waffle, which is PA, LF and out of stock.

Last time I checked a US import it was $20 minimum P & P, unless the order was over $150.

Ordering direct from PA, how do you know which are flavours just for food?

I've tried several juices made using flavourart and the only one I like now is cappuchino, the best cappuchino I've found. Only trouble is it seems to become tasteless after a few draws so have to wait before I have any more.
Anchovy, fried bacon, chicken, beef, bonemarrow?
Certainly not for me!
Unfortunately I couldn't find a vomit smiley. :D

I haven't looked to see what flavours nicvape do. A few shouldn't add much to the shipping of nic base.
With cig-eliquid out there don't seem to be many UK vendors and I know some have stopped ordering from the USA due to increased shipping charges.

i think there are only a few of the PA ones that are not to be used, its mentioned on one or two concentrates that they are for food only but very few, id also potentially be wary of any which are just oils like orange or lime as they may cause problems (im not sure though) personally ive found flavour art to be the better of the ones i have, but then i only have two or three FA, maybe i just got lucky with the ones i picked.

Oh I can't be having this-this is potv after all, the land of the free and the home of the helpful :) pm me your address and I'll send you 5ml of my precious ry4 to keep you going. Sorry I can't spare more of it :(

If you buy direct from FA in Italy it's usually more expensive than using FlavourArt UK or Liberty Flights. Also be really careful that you read the full description of the flavour concerned as the main site covers all flavours for the food industry. FA always state what's not vape safe.
