When does the shinyitis stop!!

Yeah, people are right, it never stops, its like a fever. I literally just bought a Provari and thought it would end there but three hours after it arrived i'm spunkiing £45 on a tank for it, a tenner on a carto punch and £15 on cartos. Life has no meaning unless you have the thrill of anticipation that comes with waiting for vape mail, which in turn you feed by also buying juice all the time.

Having said all that, how much of a battering would your savings/income have taken if you were still on the fags? It might seem that one is spending a lot but that's because it goes out in occasional lump sums instead of the tenner a day I was drip feeding the tobacco barons. I reckon i'm still waaaay ahead of the game on that score.

The most important thing to bear in mind: There are no pockets in shrouds. Shinyitis is a helluva deal compared to lung cancer, emphysema, etc.

Depends on how you look at it.
All that shiny stuff, is sitting looking at me. Reminding me of how much I've spent, and I can sell it on and recoup some dosh.
All that dosh on cigarettes over the last 35 years for me. Has gone up in smoke, never to be seen again.

a few weeks ago I hadn't started or really known about vaping

now my savings have taken a battering

I have an SVP, an MVP and an itaste....

help!

I'm very happy with them all and do feel the hobby and new feel of this gives it some thing more than smoking

couple of thoughts

do people have brand loyalty when it comes to vaping?

do you ever feel your collection is getting out of hand??

must admit, looked at a pro vari, but with that price, genuinely don't see the point. Any thoughts on that ??

i've been at it two months buddy it doesn't stop i've got a zmax,mvp,3protanks,4evods,igo w dripper,and two mech mods on the way and an rba tank on the way and there's still a lot of stuff i want to buy including the smok e pipe and hcigar hammer
enjoy the shinies and like big benson says its worth it because in the end its less than you'd spend on fags its also healthier tastes better and is more fun its like i've found a hobby in this with recoiling and wicking i'm gonna start on mesh wicks next and maybe try the porous ceramic wicks too.

very true Vaped Crusader its like there's a switch in our heads which doesn't allow us to tot up how much we're spending on smokes but when we look at it its scary I was 2 packs a day thats over £5000 a year jesus I could buy some top notch gear with that money.

I`m only just starting out and I`ve bought multiple batteries, multiple carto`s for all the different juices I want to try out and the juices themselves, my God so many juices.
I spent another £35 last night on more carto`s and several more juices and I will be having a major splurge in the new year on upgrading my current (multiple) eGo setup to a good VV/VW setup. Just looking around at the moment as I don`t want to rush a major vaping purchase.

I was spending well over £100 p/month on tobacco which was, literally, money up in smoke.
I`d far rather have a nice varied collection of shiny stuff and a boatload of spares for my shiny stuff and I`ll live longer to actually enjoy it all too.
Don`t see the downside to shinyitis personally. YMMV.

Aaaah. That's better. It's like therapy.
We're all the same
its almost a new routine for me now.
Rather than stand outside for 5 minutes in a stinky old cost I sit in the kitchen with a drink and a vape, scrolling through shiny things

im doing it now!


but, as noted by all, it's not fags

im not totally off them yet, but I've gone from 20 a day, to about 4

for me, that's amazing

and it's great that this community has helped me along the way

For me it will stop in a couple more purchases. The Russian will be one when it arrives and I am just waiting on a VV/VW to become available and that`s it.
