I bought a small reel of 24/32ka1 from Crazy wire a couple of days ago, partly curiosity and partly to have a reel at work for 'emergencies'. I found it quite easy to straighten with a couple of pairs of nylon pliers and produced a lovely pair of coils. I'd recommend it to anybody who doesn't have the time or patience to wrap their own Clapton wire.
