Hi Mandy,

what sort of thing are you looking for?....

If your just starting out you can do a lot worse than one of the many Ego type kits out there..

Hi & Welcome to the Planet Mandy

Well Done on your effort so far :) For a start into the wonderful world of vaping many new user try cigi look alikes but there crap to be honest ( I lasted a day with it)

Ego kits are a great way to get started off and some ppl use them for a long time as there really user friendly

Do you know of a vape shop close to where you live most of these shops let you try before you buy and are really good with advice also.. I see your a fellow Scot and there are a few shops dotted around just depends where you are and maybe we could point you in the right direction

Hiya Mandy. I agree with what the others said, an ego is the usual starting point for most new vapers. Why not have a browse around some of the vendors in our discount code section or check out the market place to see what you fancy? I'd recommend a starter kit, which usually comprises 2 battery units and one or more atomisers with all the kit (chargers etc) that you need t get started. Then you just pick your juice flavour and strength (and here the world really is your mollusc). Don't let it overwhelm you, we were all new to this once, any questions, just ask.

Hey Mandy - good stuff in getting away from the cigarettes.

The best way to start with is an eGo style kit like others have said. There are lots of different ones available from lots of different places.

You can get a 'normal' eGo kit for £20ish - though I'd recommend a variable voltage one if you can afford to get one of those. Ideally get a kit that has 2 batteries (1 to charge and one to use) a wall plug and USB charging cable some clearomisers and some e-liquid. Once you've bought a kit then you only need to get consumables which are a lot cheaper.

It's likely that before too long you'll want to upgrade to bigger and better stuff but eGos will give you a good quality of vape and serve as good backup devices in the future.

There are lots of people here who are just at the same stage you are, we're a friendly bunch and are happy to help.

wow thanks for all the replies you guys, how nice!

I am completely new myself but i have been playing with my mums ecigs she has tried a few brands but really likes a brand called vip, i was wanting to go more down the route of ejuices as there are some wicked flavours.

can any of you recommend any fab flavours? i cant decide i am looking at some the now.

cheers,
m.

Hi Mandy,

the whole juices thing is a bit subjective, and likes and dislikes tend to change over time..
most folk I know ( myself included) start out on coffee / caramel flavours... A decent starter for 10 might be RY4... It's a sweet caramel tobacco flavour, I've found my tastes have changed and now seem to vape menthols and fruit flavours for the most part...

Vape escape used to do a taster selection from their "grizwolds" range which lets you pick a variety of flavours in small quantities.. I found that really useful when I was finding my feet.

Hi Mandy
i f you are in central scotland I can recommend Emporium Vapour in Falkirk,Edinburgh or Glasgow they provide great service and you can try before you buy they offer sound advice also.
cheers
Gordon
