My first build pi$$ed every where. I just slightly evens out the cotton in the juice wells. And made absolutely sure there was no cotton being caught in the threads. On putting it back together, it’s remained leak free. Without a signs of gurgling or dry hits.My guess would be the seals too, if you get a nick or twist you lose the vacuum, some attys are just weepy, if others have dry tanks you know it`s not the design. check you`re not over packing the wick and check that the wick ends are the right length and tucked not folded into the juice well, it`s often the simple things that cause leaks.
Hello, thanks for replyCan you post pictures of your build/wicking
Many thanks, I am getting great flavour, just the leaking issue I have a problem with.My first build pi$$ed every where. I just slightly evens out the cotton in the juice wells. And made absolutely sure there was no cotton being caught in the threads. On putting it back together, it’s remained leak free. Without a signs of gurgling or dry hits.
To be clear. That’s still the original build with nothing added or removed. Just tidied up.
top advice on the airflow though, from @Crispycritters . If a bottom airflow rta doesn’t leak, when you remove the lid, with the airflow open. You’re over wicking. Same, I’ve found, goes for Boros.
It's not bad but could do with being a bit neater, there are areas under the coil where you should make sure the cotton is not touching the deck.Hello, thanks for reply
All that cotton hanging over the threads will cause the leaks. Tidy it up by tucking it into the juice well. As I said in my first post. Make absolutely sure not a single thread of cotton can be caught up as you fit deck and tank together.Hello, thanks for reply
