Wraith 80w coil questions

Thanks @mannikon that makes things so much easier. Just been trying to get my head around the ohm law and I think it all makes sense to me now. I will definatly purchase the good stuff and none of the cheap shit so don't worry about that. I know I also need to get a ohm reader (I know I probably don't need it but always better to be safe than sorry ) think I will get the geekvape 521 ohm meter. Also some ceramic tweezers. I presume the cotton bacon is best to go for too?

Cotton bacon is good and very easy to use. The mod will suffice to check the ohms but get an ohm reader by all means, especially if you want to play around using your own wires and coiling up yourself.

For some top notch claptons check out, pf vapes, prime vapes and check n vape. As said remember. When using two coils the initial advertised ohms are halved.

My recommendations would be LG HE4 or Samsung 25R, both rated at safe 20A and 2500mAh so good all rounders and safe in a single battery device up to 60W.

Yes, safe enough up to 60W but try to get a build which will vape well at around 40W so you don't have to keep changing the battery!

Cheers matey. I have got the OH to get me the wraith for Xmas and I have just bought all my coils, cotton, batteries, charger, ohm reader and tools to get me started. Welcome on board a new newbie squonker

So I after a week or so uming and ahhing with the wraith I have finally got to grips with great flavour and what I think is a not to bad build on the go. My first build was a bit crappy I think, put to much cotton in, coils were to close to the deck and the coils just looked like a 5year old just rammed them in. So I looked at more videos and browsed this forum for a bit, scrapped my crappy build and my second attempt (pic below) seemed to work a lot better. The flavour I am now getting is immense. I know I have a lot more to learn with building but to me this build looks a lot better, opinions guys?

It doesn't matter what the build looks like as long as the coils work and heat evenly. If you can vape on it, get the flavour you want, and the battery lasts, it's good enough You'll improve with practice, and you'll pick things up as you go along,
