What's new

Your first ever kit

Those early days of vaping sounded very much of the DIY slant, a lot of experimenting by companies and amateurs alike....which i missed of course...and perhaps...with relief! lol!

That said....those 'poineering' days did get the industry to where we are now....i wonder what it's gunna be like in a few years time? The technology of vaping is moving along at an acelerated pace now isn't it? I keep readin posts from members who remark on how simple things were only a few years ago....today...there's a vast array of kit and juices to choose from!

It's all much a muchness now though, I don't think anybody can make a bad decision with purchases...

*Struggles not to mention UKecigshitshower and Squid

Ego twist and CE4!

Got me off the smokes and I am still massively thankful for that crappy little set up! Only a few weeks with the CE4, then moved to the Aspire BDC, still on the Ego Twists though:

These were a big improvement!

I met an old mate the other day who had a BDC tank, I had a pull and forgot how good they were, you say you still use them now @junglist? I was thinking of buying one

OP - my first kit was a cig a like with like a screw in filter which actually looked like a ciggy, it was incredibly shit and tasted of talcum powder
Still it did the job and stop me smoking back then

I think like everything in life, it's all become disposable.
Rda's and tanks where thin on the ground and pricey so you really worked at making them work for you. Coil size, position, ohms. Wicking amounts, types and placement. Then a host of home made adjustments.
You bought what was recommended and damn it, made it happen.

I guess I started at a great time then

Ooooh I hated them. Was there ever a decent top coil atty? I can't remember one.
I did have some weird ones with the coil in the top almost like an RDTA ....... I'll try to dig one out. I moved on to Protanks and Aerotanks, then the Nautilus and Gladius.

And to think, the young people of today will never know the joy of recoiling a Protank.
