I find YouTube reviews helpful to familiarise myself with devices I haven't seen before and also it's helpful to actually see someone building a deck but I wouldn't base a purchase solely on a YouTube review.

There's a few that really bring my gears but they usually have stuff reviewed first so I'll have a scan through on mute.Oh I know, tell me about it. I always skip past the first minute or so with some of them because I hate the histrionics and silly music in some of their intros.

That's one of the main things I would imagine people watch for too.One of my little pet hates is when they fast forward and play some silly music while they're building a deck. I'm still learning when it comes to building RTA's and I like to see different people talking through how they're doing it so you can pick up tips and different ideas from each one.
