All, need a bit of advice but suspect this is a long shot.

A workmate is trying to get off the ciggies and mentioned she has an ecig but it didn't work. She has brought it in today and it is a 'Yumapuff' a brand I've never heard of before.

Anyway, the coil is stuck in the atomizer and here is the problem. I have taken the drip tip off and gone to unscrew the top cap but its completely stuck. It look like its welded on and I can't shift it - but it is a top fill tank.

The build quality of the mod is shocking and she needs a better one but has anyone ever heard of this mod before and come across this issue and solved it?

Bizarre name - has a different meaning in the west midlands!

Got any pics?

There's lots of yumapuffs on Google, look like clones of others (clones themselves are fine btw, if built right...)

Apparently, that's a yumapuff parrot...

Try taking it apart from the bottom upwards?

And these come in so handy...

I have just lent her an aspire pockex that I have lying spare - I am going to take this thing home and investigate further. I could definitely do with one of those - where did you get it mate?

Ebay, about £3.50 ish. UK seller, cheaper if you don't mind waiting for the boat...

I got two, so very useful for stuff like swapping out glass tubes.

Plastic, so no scratching like pliers would, even force from being round so no deformation, and just the right amount of grip. Oh, and ceramic tweezers on the other end (removed from one set of mine so I don't stab myself).

There's a few sizes available, and mine came with inserts:

I'm a bit of a fan :D

If you can't find them let me know and I'll send you a link.

Use rubber gloves or rubber bands to help get some grip on the smooth surfaces.

Works every time.

If the base is too small to hold put a small screwdriver through the air flow hole to give you a leaver.

But be careful

Aye, I’ve been thinking about using a screwdriver to try to get some purchase on it. The quality of the kit is really really bad.
