What's new

24 hours of the Pico Clone.

I got mine yesterday and am currently running it with the CLR 1ohm coil.

I have to say that I am really impressed. Good flavour and a nice MtL vape.

I don't often buy clones but as I am on the list for an original, I figured I needed to try it before I dropped big money. I have to say that it is one of the best built clones I have seen in many a year. Lovely smooth threading, well milled with no sharp or rough edges.

Only thing that worries me is the tank section, which I have managed to crack already on my first tank full. Not sure if it is my cack handedness or if Spiritwalker Two Arrows should be avoided in this tank.

Oh and if using the CLR coils, the included drip tip is useless as it gets hot very quickly.

I did wonder about the Tank, thankfully mine came with 2, as I am only really a Tobacco Hound I think I'll be safe, but one never knows.:2thumbsup:

Just managed to get a build in mine from my sick bed, tried the standard Taifun wick with the tails tucked inside the channels, not run the juice down far enough yet to see how it fairs with regular rolling around to wet the wicks.
So far I like it, fill holes needed me digging out a needle tip bottle to fill with my Yaeliq but not big deal.
Only grip is the peek chimney and tobacco juice makes it a garish yellow colour through the tank, not a fan of that but maybe a grey or coloured replacement tank at a later date.

For the pennies it cost I'm impressed. My version came with spares, and two drip tips too.

Got a couple on order now :)

Thought I might as well get a few different colour tanks while I was at it.

Hopefully that'll do me for a while.

Don't get me wrong, I really like it and mine came with 2 tanks too, it is just a bit annoying to crack a tank on the first go.

Something else to be noted as @moley (I think) pointed out, the filling holes on the clone are tiny. If you watch video reviews of the original it seems that a narrow nozzle on a bottle will fill it without issue. This is not the case with the clone. It is a needle tip or nothing.

Hasn't stopped me from ordering another few (not all for me). Perfect for taking away with you when you don't want to have to take a full rebuilding kit.

Where are you ordering from if you don't mind me asking? Any chance of a link, cheers.

I can't link as I'm on my phone, but I got mine from fasttech. I think the one I got was about $22.

There's a discount code of rmbbust to take a little off that as well. I think that's the right code?

I grabbed a mulitpack of tanks when ordering,i have the touch of a rapist, ive filled fine with a narrow tip bottle so far,im impressed its a really nice vape with the 1 ohm clr,my stock coil needs are sorted (till i try a nocode lazy lol)

Thanks for that @Rob, I've been hovering between a Goblin mini and a Pico for days!

Sorry for the noob question, but all the clones on FT say 'Fixed pin'. As I want it to put on a Le Petit Gros I thought I'd best check they're OK for that?
