3d printing a mod

I intend to use a mod dog battery tube or similar to eliminate the need for a sled. No offence but I think they look and feel cheap. I would get a board mount but I can't seem to find one for the dna60. Anyone have a link to somewhere that makes one or print files so I can print it?
I also intend to use a 510 with screw fit to eliminate the old 510 tightening issues. Plus I like the look of a screwed in 510.
Try asking Rob at @stealthvape as I know he stocks the board. There's clear diagrams with dimensions if you need to print a holder/board mount. Also have a look at his battery tubes as they can shave some height off the mod due to the solder points.

It was stealth vape I was looking at the boards and battery tubes etc. I have screenshot the board dimensions pics also but they don't sell a face plate or mount for the dna60

Try thingyverse for the mounts.

Just found a face plate and mount plate on shapeways. Looks promising. I'd rather have the print files though instead of ordering from them tbh

You can download the files from thingverse and use them yourself. I downloaded the file for a squonk mod and got it printed from shapeways

A lot of great stuff has been covered, the biggest tip is when designing remember it is not metal. Thickness is key, distance from the holes to the outer walls needs to be bigger than you may initially think. Material choice is another and depends on usage. Nylon, PETG, ABS etc.

Great advice yes indeed the distance from the edge for the holes etc. Good thinking.
Has anyone used a yihi board? I was just looking at them on modmakers Web page and I like the joystick design.

Ask your printer guy not to use PLA. It will start to warp in high temperatures, and materials such as ABS are more forgiving

I think you missed my point, mine has a screw and nut fit but it also has a flat edge machined in so it won't spin and you need to have this in your design, without it you either have to overtighten and crush the plastic or it will spin eventually.

BTW politeness costs nothing :ape:
