Ive made myself a bit of frankenstein flashlight mod today,
problem being is im using 2x18350 batteries and its frying coils for fun lol,
is there any atty that can handle that voltage ???
any help would be appreciated thank you 1001121_10203364299652383_1838820099_n.jpg

It sounds as if you have wired the batteries in series rather than in parallel if it is giving out that voltage?

Yes one straight on top of the other.... Research time me thinks lol maybe a tin mod instead, so in parallel would it still be 3.7 voles but a higher mah?? Cheers

Definitely! Never stack batteries in a mechanical mod, it is dangerous and no atty will/would withstand that kind of voltage :D

Always put your batteries in parallel configuration unless you are adding a step down board to control voltage to the atty ;)

Nice looking first go though :)

Parallel means increased MaH. Series means twice the voltage with slight increase in MaH.

Good handywork buddy, BTW for around £10 (or was it £8?) you can pick up a basic mech mod from FT , if you're prepared to wait for a few weeks. £10?

Cheers guys I was just being adventurous lol I'm gonna have a look at some parallel diagrams and have another play lol

I bet that keeps your hand warm. Be careful, you are risking your face stacking those.
