A bad Idea

When I first read Doomsday machine/device in this thread I started thinking of that thing from original Star Trek. The thing that looks like a giant icecream cone or alien spliff which would be a weird vaping experience.

Now I've come to my senses and realised you meant some kind of military nuclear launch control box I think the idea is awesome.

To make a portable vaping device that can chuck out mental power how about a 300 watt converter that plugs in to a 12 V car accessory socket(used to be called ciggy lighter sockets)and can power 240 V gear,has a USB output and also can be connected directly to a 12 V battery?

They aren't exactly portable due to the weight of a lead acid battery,but can be taken to most places a car is used to get you there.
I bought one from Halfords (200 watt) & a second one from a hardware retailer (300 watt) for about £30.

Sounds good, have a think about how you want it to look, flashing lights?, Guarded switches with hazard markings? etc...
