All the Advertisements are making me dizzy!

Ok, yes I am a new member.

I was wondering if there is anyway to turn off the Ads in this forum. I already have adblock but it really doesn't do squat.

All of the blinking and flash loading is driving me nuts. Its really starting to make collaborating in this forum a really un enjoyable experience and i just joined like today.

Is this just something I have to get used to? or is there a simple fix to this?

Please help! These ads make my eyes bug out and its hard to concentrate on any thread questions im reading. I really dont know. It looks like a great forum but all the Ad GIFs, its way too much for me!

Other than using the app no, & there are static ads on there. The ads are required to keep the site free for all users.
Bugged me at first but don't really notice them now.

As @nwhornet says if you're on Android use the POTV app from the play store, if Apple use the Tapatalk app - no ads then.

PC or other browser and you're getting the ads unfortunately - drove me nuts to begin with, and adblockers don't affect them, but they keep the site free/employ people

I can see them..but they've never really bothered me, in fact i hardly pay any atention to them. Good point re adblock not affecting the static ones though, i have that installed, never realised it desn't do diddley squat with those 'fixed' ones..

Adblock for chrome, click the icon, then click block an ad on this page, this will allow you to click the sidebar and remove it, you can repeat for any ads you see.

But if it is bothering someone that much and they would leave otherwise then it can't hurt

I actually like the ads, always offers and discounts to be had

The folks that advertise on the site are usually the ones who offer the best deals discounts and your freebies as well as supporting the site..A small price to pay for all this wonder.

There are more signatures than adds and some take up more space than whats being posted.
I've switched the signatures off as it makes for easier reading.
As for adds i only see a banner every three or so posts so not invasive at all.

right click on add .....select adblocker ultimate......select block ad on this site......click on ad and select block similar on this site from dialogue box

works for me on firefox
