What's new

All the Advertisements are making me dizzy!

Adblock for chrome, click the icon, then click block an ad on this page, this will allow you to click the sidebar and remove it, you can repeat for any ads you see.

Thank you all for the wonderful advice and tips! I did this which works 100% but then i started reading all of Your heart felt responses at what I deemed an annoyance. I response to everyones insights i have decided to unblock the ads. You are all correct. It is a free forum and I would like to keep it that way. Also, I see the benefit to me the user now. I am always looking for the lowest prices and the newest vapes.

I will just get use to the ads and Embrace them. Thank you all!

:hmm: Maybe your not drinking enough water. Dehydration can make you dizzy. Long times between meals can too.

Sorry there is not a lot you can do about the ads as they pay to advertise on here and with out them we would not have this forum for us to enjoy...........

I must admit I have blocked a couple of really flashy loud ads on here but actually, on firefox the next ad in the cycle gets bumped up, so I feel its legitimate. I've blocked a few elements in some apes sigs as well.

There are some ads that would come with an seizure warning if they were on TV.

First rule of advertising is don't annoy the prospective customer!

Ok, yes I am a new member.

I was wondering if there is anyway to turn off the Ads in this forum. I already have adblock but it really doesn't do squat.

All of the blinking and flash loading is driving me nuts. Its really starting to make collaborating in this forum a really un enjoyable experience and i just joined like today.

Is this just something I have to get used to? or is there a simple fix to this?

Please help! These ads make my eyes bug out and its hard to concentrate on any thread questions im reading. I really dont know. It looks like a great forum but all the Ad GIFs, its way too much for me!
I know exactly what you mean, it bugged me at first but after a couple of weeks they didn't bother me and now I hardly notice them, sometimes I spot one that actually takes my interest.

But it's a small price to pay for a great forum and pay for it's running costs, stick with it you will soon get used to it :)

Oh forgot to say, it could be far worse and advertise your search and history, I recently searched for 'cat knocking over glass' and now Amazon is trying to sell me glass and cat products :18:

I won't mention some of my other random searches :12:

I must be the "typical" male with tunnel vision because my first thought was, "what adds?".
