Since always(!) - I seem to have problems with tanks leaking liquid out the air vents?

Falcon Mini / Resin has been my go to ( have about 10 sets!), yet I'm perplexed that after the coil has broken in good or after a few tankfuls have been used - starts to get leaky more and more. No issue with falcon coils - they're bang on and handle my heavy/chain style vaping.
Rings etc changed. All cleaned out regularly.
Kinda' stuck with it - but its buggin me off now - like literally ALWAYS leak? Worse still I see the liquid in the battery compartment which is pretty pants huh and I'm pretty sure this caused my Shogun Mod to combust! I've taken to making a make shift leakage collector - dried wet wipes - cut to a square wider than the tank - with a hole cut for the thread/pin.
Same issue with all the tanks I've used - Freemax, Ello Pop, Jacvapour Mini thing - even the Aspire AIO?

So... what gives?!

I'm thinking I need to possibly look into a different tank 'n' coil - what dya recommend for a Falcon Resin lover!?

As always indebted to your kindnessandsharing of knowledge :)

Juice should be retained in most tanks by a vacuum formed by the seals that make it airfight, the wick then forms a final damm against tips turns and general use, Thinner juice generally needs a healthier wick volume to damm the flow than thicker juices.

If having problems with attys that use stock coils i would look at changing orings and seals first..

Priming new stock coils with drops of juice until they no longer absorb it should swell the wick to its max damming size prior to fitting/use..

wicking technique is generally the root of most RTA leaks, with seal failures resulting in no vacuum to retain the juice following.

wetting dry seals with a drp or 2 of ejuice can help lube the connection and aid the seal.

plumbers pfte tape is a handy seal aid for threads excess can be pulled post seal to tidy up ;)

wicking is a knack that you get eventually and then you will wonder what the fuss was ;)

As mentioned above when filling especially with top filling tanks that destroy any vacuum retaining residual juice, close of any in vents to form a pressure barrier if possible to retain the juice during filling.

hope thats useful??

Cheers folks!
Argh I've grown too close to this tank and its coils - top drawer!
Agree I replaced all rings etc, and still had issues (usually happens when the could been broken in proper, like 2/3 tank fills later).
Halfing to air vents helped and to my surprise using 50/50 seems to help even more. Beats me!?
I accidentally ordered 50/50 for my first DIY ( shouts to chefs flava :) so well with 250ml I've been chugging all week with minimal leakage

Aside, any Aspire tanks have as good a performance as Falcon & F1/M1/M2? Possibly will pickup on my next hardware shop :)

Again muchos gracias !
