A couple of efest batteries wouldn't go a miss...

Usually my coils are delivered using the free option and it takes 2-3 weeks so I'm expecting the same.

blame the government for shutting down industry, privatising everything, selling off social housing leading to what’s left becoming ghettoised, demonising the benefit claimants they created, deliberately letting entire areas turn into slums so they can sell them off etc

Well @simong i think what I said above isn’t necessarily specific to Scotland though, you could look at it more broadly as a u.k. wide problem.

I tend to have a generally socialist kind of outlook. And I find the idea that people are responsible for their own poverty, misery, inability to deal with the adversity the life presents them, to be a pretty selfish point of view. Fair enough people should take responsibility for the things they can, but I think that where people end up in life, in the bigger picture, has much more to do with how their surroundings have treated them and what resources they have had at their disposal. And resources are far too unequally split.

But there you go I think that’s enough of my sociological theorising, back to remarking on how much of a cunt big mad Ray is...

The reason I didn't know how to reply to any of this is because I didn't say any of this and that's not how I feel.

I said that you can't blame the government for your own behaviour or shitty parenting ... I don't subscribe to the idea that because the government shat on you, or you were dealt a shitty hand or you are unemployed, or you live in a shitty area (or whatever you can blame the government for) that gives you an excuse or reason to be a criminal, act like a dick or be an appalling parent.

That's all i'm saying.

look at the thread this is in ...... are we gonna make excuses for this vendor because he had a rough life, been unemployed for years, got fucked over by a Thatcher government (like I didn't too or something?!) and this business was his attempt to get out of that trap, so we should understand his shitty behaviour and bullshit about having stuff in stock? ..... I'm pretty left wing but I ain't that left-wing. ... people need to take some responsibility for their actions.
