You're going to need to give them an opportunity to fulfil the order before you can do anything. When a reasonable time has elapsed, and they have failed to respond to your emails and phone calls as they do. I would advise contacting your bank to advise them you've been ripped off, and also Trading Standards, like I did.

They are currently investigating.

I ordered about 3 weeks ago, so have not been waiting as long as most of you guys. Cheers for the heads up, will give it til new year and see what happens.

So i got impatient and decided to go ahead and contact my bank, just to entertain the idea of a refund - even in the extremely unlikely event the mod arrives, i don't want this company to have a penny of my hard earned cash :22:

So for anyone who didn't use Paypal (that banks with HSBC) it seems you can raise a claim after just 2 weeks of not receiving the item.

They email you within 7 days with a document for you to sign, then claim they will provide you with a refund. If they cant get hold of the seller within 60 days the refund remains in your account. (or so i was led to believe)

I'm sure a lot of you already know this but for anyone who has just found out they may have been shafted, i thought it may be helpful.

Yeah it's called a chargeback. I popped a post on the previous page to explain the difference between a chargeback and a section 75. Both handy to know if you've been ripped off

Ah nice one, good to see you had a positive result. I guess you can always rely on banks to get money off of people ...:sinister:

I did mine via paypal! Just know a wee bit about the different protections you can get on debit and credit cards. Even if you've got cash it's sometimes worth putting the first £100 on the credit card for bigger purchases such as holidays. Then pay the rest up in cash. The section 75 will still cover you in those circumstances

I’ve messed up mine. Put a claim in then thought they may come good so cancelled it. Now there’s no way of re opening the claim.

Some teeny bopper nicked my van once.
Left the front door unlocked with the keys in on the inside.
Spent ages beating myself up but end of the day he chose to enter my house.
This is one of them kind of things where you didnt ask him to take your money and run.
