Are 316 really 316?

maybe your resistance is just too low for good results?

SS needs to be around a minimum of 0.35 to 0.5 for a single coil.

The resistance variation of SS wires isn't much when heated compared to other TC wires. I think you may be on to a loser with 0.15 mesh as it heats up almost instantly and the variation in resistance is minimal.

On the handful of occasions I've vaped TC with SS316 I've made a point of starting with builds above 0.30 and used regular roundwire so it heats up progressively instead of instantly -

As mesh generally gives a rather cool vape I think you're on to a loser with TC. I wouldn't even try - perhaps @John R can figure out a way to make it work, I'm completely out of my depth lol.

Think I speak for all of us tc vapers here when I say thank you to @John R and @Crispycritters for their efforts

When my hands are a bit too shaky, I use a dictation app (usually Dragon) and then correct all the mistakes it makes, goes a tad quicker
