I stopped smoking 2 months ago and went straight on to 0 inc I'm already ffeeling better breathing easier and taken physical exercise and I'm vaping constantly. I think 0 inc is probably causing me to have kanger attached to my face almost permanently but if I'm feeling better Ill put up with it rather than go back

thanks for link Tubbyengineer but im not holding my breath.
once hospitals decide and impliment them in the trust rules theres no going back as it is down to the individual trust.
ive heard we will be losing our smoking shelter as well soon and staff are expected to go right off site and not in uniform. thats roughly a 5-15 minute walk each way depending what part of the building staff are in.

i will send that pdf t the h&s manager and see what they say and i bet the first thing will be its out of date as its over 1 year old.

That sign doesn't say you can't use an e cig it says you can't smoke one which you can't anyway as it's vapour. Neither could you class most devices these days as an e cig, they bear no resemblance to a cigarette, the only device that should, or could, be called an e cigarette is a cigalike but even then it wouldn't be smoked. I realise your job is more important to you than taking this on but it really does get my back up. As Joe Public I'd ignore that sign, I consider myself to be a considerate vaper and would vape so as not to annoy others be they other Joe Publics or staff. Mind you, if I was still a smoker I'd probably still ignore it in the same way, in the open air away from others I'd be harming nobody but myself.
