Are You Having The Booster ?

I've typed more shite since you quoted me, thought I better give some detail to put it in context..

That makes no sense to me, if I do something I finish it and it feels like a half job not getting the booster. I always clean my plate :)
But how long are we expected to keep having it ! Every 6 month's till you die. I'm not up for that. I don't do medicine's generally.

Well I think the government are knobs but it won't stop me getting the booster. IMO this is all too important to get your hackles up.
I'm a stubborn grumpy fucker though Rew, don't like being forced into things :D

Thanks, atleast you're honest :18:
I absolutely get why you'd be thinking what you're thinking, but I also get why it's important for everyone and to try to stop the spread. I'd do the same no matter who was 'in charge'.

..... and I don't 'do' medicines much either, my GP'd thought I'd died when I registered for the first shot as they'd not seen me for so long! :D

................ and I've left uneaten food in restaurants all round London ............ ;)

I have no problem with getting a booster if that is what is recommended. I accepted the first two without quibbling so I can't get upset about having a third, or any subsequent future jabs if they are being offered.

I don't care overly much that 2 jabs are now 3, or possibly more - and I can't get too upset that the government didn't have all the answers at the start of the pandemic and chopped and changed policies constantly. I wouldn't trust the government to accurately predict the colour of shit.

53 mate. In answer to your first question, only you know how vulnerable you'd be to any impact of infection, I've only got 40% of an immune system and the covid drove a bus through my chemo protective treatment allowing MS to come back with a vengeance, hence losing the ability to walk, had chemo again on February to reinstate some MS barrier to the brain again, now it's the long road back...

It's not as if they can tell you how covid will impact your life.
Blimey, don't blame you being cautious mate. Fortunately, I'm pretty fit and well. Only suffering from joint pain from a couple of hard working jobs and the fact I don't particularly look after myself in that respect. Not keen on medics. I've actually refused 2 operation's.

I have no idea how long but I will do it for as long as we need to, it doesn't bother me, my brain doesn't work like that but I'm not daft either and id much rather not have it but with a 93% against symptomatic infection- that makes more sense to me.

Double jabbed and 2 - 3 weeks of fresh covid circulating in my system, so I cant have a booster for at least 7 more weeks anyway. tbh, I didn't want the booster pre infection, but covid is a nasty chunt, so will have to consider at some point.

Whitty said today about the getting the jab...

"First of all you are less likely to get covid and obviously if you don't get it you cannot pass it on. Secondly; if you do get it, you are less likely to transmit.

Well,I was double jabbed and caught it, should find out tomorrow if my wife has covid, almost certainly caught from me, if she has it. I think the jabs have kept me out of hospital and so far from suffering the worst effects of covid, although it has been quite bad.

I'm not convinced the jabs prevent transmission/ catching the shit, but I do believe the jabs largely prevent serious illness, many more hospitalisations and many more deaths.

Don't think any of us like being told very much. The amount of times someone suggested to me about giving up smoking in the past is nobody's business and I dug my heals in every time.
