Are You Having The Booster ?

Double jabbed and 2 - 3 weeks of fresh covid circulating in my system, so I cant have a booster for at least 7 more weeks anyway. tbh, I didn't want the booster pre infection, but covid is a nasty chunt, so will have to consider at some point.

Whitty said today about the getting the jab...

"First of all you are less likely to get covid and obviously if you don't get it you cannot pass it on. Secondly; if you do get it, you are less likely to transmit.

Well,I was double jabbed and caught it, should find out tomorrow if my wife has covid, almost certainly caught from me, if she has it. I think the jabs have kept me out of hospital and so far from suffering the worst effects of covid, although it has been quite bad.

I'm not convinced the jabs prevent transmission/ catching the shit, but I do believe the jabs largely prevent serious illness, many more hospitalisations and many more deaths.
I know you're suffering mate. The troubling thing is that you're suffering badly but you've had 2 jabs. That doesn't sit right with me. So much for it just being like a cold if you've had the jabs.

I think you lot have been talking to my missus. Not one of you have said, yeah, tell em to shove it :D

Totally agree, but what can one do :hmm: was it Hancock who said "the vaccine is the way out of this", well it obviously wasn't, because now it booster time, 3 jabs in six months wtaf?

I've never suffered from any respiratory illnesses but there's always a first time I suppose.

I've had little or no respiratory aspects so far, for me it has been a nervous system attack thing - the weaknesses in my lumbar spine and spinal cord damage and how it got in my brain, covid is weird and alien.

I don't want to trivialise Andi's suffering .............. but he's not in hospital, he's not on a ventilator, and he's (hopefully) recovering. It's a horrible virus. It's all relative?

It certainly is a shit. I saw an American doctor on YouTube the other day explaining how it attacks your lungs and what it does to them if you're unlucky. Not nice. Reminded me of a biological and chemical attack seminar I attended.

*maybe* I should have been - maybe, but I didn't want the hazmats round, and I got through it. I can foresee many people wouldn't have chosen my course of action, or lack of it, it was quite Russian roulette-ish, I do like a gamble :18:

I've said elsewhere, it felt like a nerve agent attack to me, not that I'm experienced in such matters!

Must admit I'd have been tempted to do much the same - absolutely last resort. ;)

Glad you're still with us. ;) :10:

I had my Pfizer booster today.
Just looking after me and mine.
Didn't politicise or overthunk it.

Do you know what blood type you are andi ? I've read recently that group A people are suffering more than B and O types. Weird that....
