Are You Having The Booster ?

Booster booked for this week, but from research it does seem like the current vaccines aren't as useful against Omicron.

Seems pointless having an experimental jab if it only lasts 3 weeks though mate. That sucks
it does mate but at least ill have three weeks of some protection.
its catch 22 again. medication im on for my arthritis is methotrexate and anti tnf infusion which wipes my body of my immune system, thus keeping any further flare ups at bay but then that in itself puts me in the category of not having any covid jabs at all even though ive had all three so far.
thing is if i stop the meds and infusion my body will start attacking itself again and ill end up in a wheelchair withing 3-6 months.

[emoji45] suppose you're a prisoner in your home most of the time aren't you.
I can't imagine the stress that must cause.

Boris said the government would make the Booster "available" before the end of December.

He's done this already.

He didn't say everyone would get it before the end of December but it appears many people have taken this from what's been said.

in a nutshell, yes. been working from home for 19 months. took 10 months to finally get a work laptop with vpn to link to hospital. i started going in on a saturday to sort backlog that i cant do at home but thats looking risky now.
and sadly to top it off i took 96 year old mum for eye test on friday and she was in there for 90 minutes. 2 shadows found and urgent referal letter to go to moorfields. she had a massive op on forehead last year which was skin cancer so the worry starts again.
