Are You Having The Booster ?

Jeez, not sure how to respond to that [emoji45]
dont :D:D
ive grown up being stuck at home for upto 6 months due to the many operations ive had over the years but this has surely taken the biscuit.
and now mum having to go through this again after last years fiasco of a op that wouldnt heal for 11 months.
shes 96 and been fit as a fiddle all her life up until last this skin cancer op. she had a fall outside our house where a trees roots had lifted the pavement and she tripped. took her to casualty and luckily only bad bruising around the face where she headbutted the pavement.
they noticed a half pence sized scab that was between eye and ear and said it looked suspicious. it had been there for at least 10-15 years and never grown or changed.
biopsy taken and cancerous. said op would take 20 which turned into 90 minutes and 4-5 stitches ended up being 18 stitches. then it got infected and the 3 weekly trips to gp to clean wound which went on for 11 months.
and now this ffs.

had my third back in October getting daily calls to go back in and work I am not decided for the first time in 10 years I am not working Xmas day but it's gut-wrenching there is just is no information about omicron just this huge storm on the horizon but with an R Naught of 2 to 3 it's going to be a rough ride

Just like last time, the government opens up the jab program for the lower age group on the day I became eligible for the booster. No chance of getting the jab before the end of the year. Milday Vaponi has had her booster booked for a couple of weeks. Its booked for the middle of Jan and she can't get online to bring it forward, so again, how exactly is everyone going to be jabbed before the end of the month?

Long queues via browser but if you or your wife received a text msg, mine was from NHSNoReply, telling you to book your appointment then you can book, manage/ reschedule your appointments and bypass the online shit, I just tried it, ridiculous wait on line, straight through via the text message.

Cheers I'll let her know, I think she just went through the website though.

It might be a good idea to keep trying on the website, a family member was offered a booster date in January but didn't confirm it and kept trying periodically over a few days not choosing a date, they did this for a while and eventually got one in December. Might back fire though and offer you a later date now as so many are trying.
