Are You Having The Booster ?

It baffled me that she was waiting for a bit of paper, like that makes any difference, you're either eligible or not. She knew she was as we asked when I got mine done and they told her she was due in a weeks time and that was a month ago... background is when I got covid last spring I ended up passing it to her and the symptoms nearly killed her so I'd rather not play that game again as it wasn't pleasant.

The stupid statements should stop. Going back on his word is not doing the government any favours. His lost what little trust he had from the public IMO.

the problem is he has a history of constant lying and dishonesty. it seems he is a serial liar. so to be fair it would be reasonable for the public to have no trust in him. it’s just unfortunate that they thought it was a good idea to elect him into government.

We didn't know about Grab a Jab Mick. :) The UK Members of Wishbone Ash discovered it during their UK Tour and several have taken advantage of it, apart from my Chum Mark who received a Text invite which is on Monday after the Tour finishes on the 20th.

Do you "have" to wait for 6 month's to pass before the booster though ? I'm currently at 5 1/2 month's since my second.

Edit. Just used your link. 20 to 30 miles away to get the booster.. Not too bad I suppose. The local place where I got my first 2 is closed now.

It "appears" that they are taking 5 months as being acceptable Mick.

The NHS website said you can walk in to any vax centre AFTER 6 MONTHS from your second jab. But that was yesterday, so it's anybody's guess what todays guidelines are.

My second jab was on the 25th May - I drive past the local jab centre a few times a week. I plan to drop in and bite the bullet any time after next Thursday if I don't get any reminder or appointment before then.

My second was received on 27th May.
Local place is shut now so would need to travel to the next big city, 20 to 30 miles.

I believe you can book online with your local GP surgery and get it done there (and get a flu jab at the same time if you're an oldie like me).
