Are You Having The Booster ?

I was invited, accepted and will continue to accept as long as needed. No vaccine is 100% effective, but reducing the impact of this awful virus on me and others around me if I do catch it means I am happy to do what I can. Covid can f!"£ off and if I can help it on it's way, the more the merrier.

I just don't like the way Boris is trying to force people into taking them Rob.
His latest is "if enough people don't have the booster we may have to bring in more restrictions ". After he said the last lockdown would be the last.
I'll more than likely have it but all this manipulating is winding me up.
I think the problem as I see it is Boris was relying on the great British public to follow the guidelines. While this was being done in most cases, since the last lifting, there are loads of people not bothering to follow safe practices anymore.

To me it's obvious that the cases will rise in this situation and unless he brings back safe distance and masks the cases will keep going up. His only option is to push the jab. I dont want another lockdown but it's certainly looking like it will happen.

to be fair to him ( :D ) i think he is just being realistic. there have been loads of stupid statements, poor decisions made, the idea of a lockdown being the last one was quite shortsighted given the circumstances.

edited to add: yes, i will go for another jag when i can. i see they’ve just announced it for the 40-49 age group.

We're supposed to follow guidelines that they cant be assed to follow themselves? Any one see the reporters at the press conference yesterday, no one had a mask on, wtaf. Johnson wandering around hospitals, no mask. Tory MPs, no masks. covid symptoms listed on government and NHS websites,18 months out of date, how many people know that a runny nose is the top symptom of covid (76%), followed by headaches and sneezing. They don't exactly lead by example do they, extracurricular knobbings and ass grabbing all over the place.

I dont disagree with your comment fella, guidelines is too fluffy, it should be enforced.
