We are all boosted up, can't see the point in not having it if we have already had the 1st and 2nd vaccine it just seems the right thing to do for us but each to their own.

I just don't like the way Boris is trying to force people into taking them Rob.
His latest is "if enough people don't have the booster we may have to bring in more restrictions ". After he said the last lockdown would be the last.
I'll more than likely have it but all this manipulating is winding me up.

We both would have happily had our Boosters without any manipulation Mick. Carol's Mum was a 1950's Polio Victim, so we had first hand experience of what Anti Vax or worse... such as NO Vax in Her case could "potentially" cause in the way of problems, so when a Booster became available for this wretched Covid, we were first in line.

Had my booster done 2 weeks ago no problems and was told i would get another invite in 6 months time will have it again no worries.

I got invited to go for mine but i have heard you can just walk in now.

Got my booster jab in a weeks time. As far as I'm concerned the virus is still part of our lives and isn't going away anytime soon. Cases are still on the rise each day and people are still dying in their thousands around the world.

While I understand having the jab doesnt fully stop you catching it or passing it on, if it reduces the severity of it then I'm all for having it.

I'm still doing my best to keep out of situations where there are people in close proximity as for months now very few people seem to bother with face masks and keeping their distance. I dont want to catch the virus and die from it, become seriously ill in the long run or pass it on to family or friends.
