Aspire Kumo for first RDTA DTL tank

Any suggestion for an easier to live with alternative thats more traditional?

We're at cross purposes bud, I took it to PM.

I had just read a post from a new member and didn't realise I'd clicked on another thread. My answer was about your question, but I thought I was still talking to the other guy lol.

If you've already ordered the wire I advise you try it first rather than buying something else straightaway - I don't care for it, but your opinion may differ.

2 wires I've found decent for RDL are the Coilology MTL Staple and Coilology dual 28/36, but they are Ni80 (I don't know if nickel is suitable for you).
Cheers mate, I'll keep them in mind and might try nickel in the future once I have an appropriate mod.

Ni80 is a wattage wire, similar to Kanthal. It ramps up quicker, which is why it is often preferred nowadays, although some have a bad time (allergic reaction) with Nickel coils.

Ni80 isn't a TC wire so it can be vaped in regular wattage mode (I believe you're thinking of Ni200 which I think can only be used in TC). However, if you have a nickel sensitivity/allergy it's a no go.

I had a dtl smok years ago and remember a TC function , but I never did figure it out. Damn mod and tank kept breaking on me when I dropped it and cost a fortune to replace. After many replacements I gave in and went back to the aspire nautilus. Anyway, I'm gonna start off using the wattage function with the kanthal and take it from there. I'll look into nickel coils and other options in the future. Seems like there's loads to learn and try. Thanks

Morning guys, I thought I'd check in and give you an update. I'm still waiting on my kumo but my nunchuku 2 mod arrived yesterday, so I've put my neeko on there to try while I wait. It's a very good device with wattage, temp control & mod options. It's very minimal and fits into the pocket. I really like the one button gyroscope function too.

Interestingly it's showing my coils at 0.86ohms when my ijoy saber showed 0.92.

I'll need to buy a pair of 21700 batteries for it and I'm watching a few. I'm leaning towards the purple vapcells as its a brand I know. What would you go for?

I see they have the 5000mah option (BAK N21700CG-50 21700 Battery) which I couldn't find for the Molicels elsewhere. Thanks for that and the code! I'll price the total just now.

Edit - ah those arn't the Molicels and there doesn't seem to be 5000mah Molicels on that site. I should have said I'm looking for 5000mah batteries sorry
