Aspire One vs Aspire Pockex - Help!

I've no experience with the One Up R1 but afaik the Pockex has only 2 coils options, 0.6 and 1.2ohm, neither are mesh coils which many think give better flavour than standard ones. The 1.2 is recommended for higher nicotine levels. Nautilus X coils (1.5 and 1.8) also fit it but Nautilus BVC coils don't. As with any coil it needs to be primed and in my experience it best to just let it stand for 10-15 minutes and ensure the coil is screwed down tightly.

Coils that fit the Pockex - 0.6 ohm and 1.2 ohm

Nautilus X coils - 1.5 ohms and 1.8 ohms
Nautilus XS Mesh coil - 0.7 ohms

As above, standard Nautilus coils don’t fit - only those for the X or XS tanks.

Wow thanks everyone for your help!

I have changed the liquid to a nic salt one and flavour wise it got a lot better. Also, I am now sure I have indeed burnt my 0.6 coil ‍♀️

What I find with the 1.2 coil though is flavour is good but I don’t get the great amount of vapour I did with the One R1, so I might try changing the coil to a mesh one, do you think that would affect vapour quantity?

thank you!

The 1.2 ohm coil will produce less vapour compared to the 0.6 ohm as it is higher ohmage and is aimed at mtl (mouth to lung) vaping.

If you use another 0.6 ohm coil or 0.7 ohm mesh , then you will get more vapour from it and can get a restricted type direct to lung vape from it . Battery life will be less using the lower ohmage coils though, although not hugely.

Hope that helps and all the best.

My understanding is mesh coils compared to standard ones typically produce more vapour so the 0.7 XS mesh coil may be a better option than the 0.6 Pockex one.

I brought a pack of aspire o.7 mesh coils to try out primed it etc and it burnt out in a few days. Only used one out of the pack could of just been a bad one but put me off trying the others so won’t be using the 0.7 mesh ones again. Have tried the 0.7 non mesh and they are pretty decent.
