Astro Clone firing button

Hey guys, this morning the other half was pissing about with my Astro clone that i've JUST received (bought on here) she managed to get the firing button to fall off, and now I can't get the fucker to stay on...Ideas? I've spent about an hour trying to push it back on...

I had one that I gave to the other halfs mother. She took it out once and lost the spring for it.

It is awkward to fix but it does go back on. Just make sure the spring is going over the post on the bottom of the spring. If that makes sense. That's the only problem I had when trying to put it back together.

I got it half way on at one point, but the button was just hanging...Ok so back to some brute force thanks!

Like I said just make sure the spring is around that bottom post, push in and twist it to thread it back in at the same time.

I'll try and describe it while I try and get some good pictures of it.

Anyway the spring is around the button post, but with the spring around it, the button won't go up at all. Without the spring on it button goes up into the hole fine...

There should be a pin inside the Delrin piece. Can you remove that pin and then try?

It feels or even looks like the spring is too big...but that's impossible...anyway tried with the pin/screw out and still no beuno. Tried screwing the screw in but nothing
