Hi could anyone tell me what the discharge rate is for these batteries http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/efest-imr-18350-800-mah-battery.html

wanting batteries that make my chi you clone as small as possible.

here is the efest page for that battery, but it does not specify the max continuous safe discharge rate. I've seen a rating of 8C (thus 6.4 amps max safe continuous discharge rate) mentioned on the webisphere, but I do not know where this information comes from. Personally I don't sub-ohm with them so the max draw I put on them is a little over 4 amps on a fully charged one.

I've got these batteries in my ft clone and it's great (I've got a stealth cap too which makes it smaller). Hope this helps

6.4 amps you can get the efest purple 18350's whch have a discharge rating of 10amps if you can find em theyre like gold

Thanks, I just went for two of these in the end today. im still trying to get my head around this whole low ohm heads thing. I've actually been using 2 hom head and do see my self going for sub ohm anytime soon.

bookmark this and it'll give you a heads up about how many amps you're pulling - for example on a fresh battery with 4.2 volts with a 0.5ohm coil you'd be pulling 8.4 amps - by the way I don't advise sub ohming ever with 18350's its just not worth the risk. whenever i'm going under an ohm I use sony vtc4 18650 batteries Rated for 30amps available at myepack for £7.50 each

As I said I don't really understand what lower ohm heads give.

Ive been messing about rebuilding heads in my kanger t3s and normally there between 2.2-2.4ohm @ 8w and using cotton I've been getting a much better vape than the stock versions.
I built a twisted micro (ish)coil at 1.2 ohm and it didn't seem to produce anymore vapour(8-11w),maybe slightly more flavour but it was just very hot,with more of a throat hit which I actually didn't like.(it could well be giving of more vapour as I've been getting light headed since using it,like when you have a cig for the first time in ages).

Think I prefer a much cooler vape without as much of a throat hit, does PG liquid give this too? I normally vape 50/50 but bought some darkstar liquids which are 70/30 and noticed they were harsher on my throat. and what was in the tank with the 1.2ohm head.

you can get what you want from em more flavour,more vapour or the sweet spot on both there's lots of different types of coil single,dual,quad,octo,donut,diamond,micro,nano,chimney, so many to try i'd reccomend buying an igo dripper and trying some of them out
check out riptrippers videos on youtube he's an annoying fucker but his instructable videos are great

haha i have watched a few of his vids and he is quite intense. hopefully the batts and my russian 91% will arrive tmr and i can have a play when the wifes at work
