Another stream of valid points. Eg 99% of vapers are former stinkie users. So how can they say its a gateway?
Let's look at this way. A non smoker takes up vaping. Enjoys a few good quality vapes on red Astaire. Snake oil or grants vanilla custard. Then makes the jump to Lambert and butler or b and h? I think not. The only jump they would be making would be to the toilet to throw up.
My self as a Vaper. Always say if your not a smoker. Then don't start vaping. As you will end up addicted to nicotine.

The ONLY way the gateway argument holds any water is if they make e-liquids and PV devices so much harder to get hold of for a decent cost that smoking becomes the easier option. It should not happen but with the concocted regs coming into play I wonder how much those in power are actually engineering the gateway for their own means (and justification).

I missed it all,was told it had been on so came to POTV to find out what I'd missed.
I've tried ciggys,they tasted awful(but not while I didn't know about vaping)but having watched these videos,I'm going to have to give up my Hot Toddy flavoured juice & resume the much more deadly,foul tasting real tobacco as that is what they're saying I will d
h,and my daughter will see my topping up my RDA & think that I'm smoking so will want to start smoking too.
There again,she's more likely to believe the evidence I've shown her from Dr Farsalinos etc that proves that anything negative heard in/on the media is about as believable as the Mr Ben fucking storybooks(or was it Thomas the Tank)

Go and see your PMO, i saw mine and am classed as a non smoker now, therefore my basic human rights and needs are being denied, it is different at sea ( just use a different boat bay).
The JSP references are crap and drawn up a year ago with no evidence, i am lucky to work with civvies and they are happy for me to vape indoors.
If you do get flannelled off with 'its life in a blue suit' then feed it up the chain, because you are NOT smoking!!

What a fool that that Peter Macreth is. He actually believes vaping is a gate way to smoking. It's the opposite way round you complete idiot! Sure desperation when he starts talking about batteries blowing up.

Finally very pleasing to see a positive spin on things, especially from the Big 2 news channels in the UK.
I agree with a lot of comments regarding the guy from christies on the sofa, he did himself absolutely no favours at all. A lot of feedback we have had from customers since it aired are that the christies guy came across as though hand picked to throw any objective possible about e cigarettes into the mix. In the end he just looked lost.
Lets hope this is the beginning of a turn ..... the day i see the daily mail print positive views then the battle could be won.
