What's new

Bezs Liquid.

It's posh Baileys, or baileys with a more robust flavour. I had more than a few pm's with Bez talking about Baileys, because the day I got my lifetime ban from my local spoons (March 20th 2020) was the day (apart from whatever else I'd drunk and been spiked with) I bought a litre bottle of baileys, cracked it open in the spoons smoking area, which is an instant ban, and had the remainder of the bottle seized by the police. Bez loved all that chat, I can assure you :18:

Nope, it's a good start, I've got the flv and I like fw hazelnut, I think amarula, from memory has more coffee and maybe some choc, not sure about the strange fruit, rum seems about right for the spirit, Black Kraken rum perhaps.

Edit: FA Irish Cream as well, maybe some cranberry, I have this thing about adding cranberries.

mmm, bailleys with some unknown fruit and nut... plus coffee and chocolate?

FLV Mocha
FLV Cream
FLV Rum & Raisin
FW Hazelnut
VT Red Dates

... sounds pretty nice, if nothing like it's supposed to be. :D

Liking the sound of some of these so far already! Rum and Raisin is, I suspect, a good call.

The bottle should be arriving tomorrow so I'll stick up my thoughts, see what the prominent notes are and go from there.

Irish Cream from Flavour West is a good off the shelf Irish Cream flavour, does need to be in at slightly higher percentages though but can end up overwhelming.

Helps.....

This looks a little more on the money.....

Not had any since the late 90s, time to reacquaint myself, nail that flavour profile, but not until late afternoon, once I start I may not stop, gonna be lush with a vape

Well, I've had a taste of the Amarula, and a smell. Smells like rocket fuel or even superglue! Bloody delicious though, strong rum/ spirit overtones, cream, but not overdone, moderate coffee, less choc, not getting the fruit, there is an interesting bitterness, at the end. I would start with, as a base, FA Tiramisu and FA Rum/ Jamaican Rhum.

Tiramsu is an excellent shout!

I've just tried it, forgive me if this sounds very pretentious, I went on a Whisky Tasting session and had to so all this for that.

On the nose :- Caramel, Butterscotch and a deep cream.

Taste at the front:- Caramel cream and Butterscotch cream with an alcohol hint.

Aftertaste :- light fruit (Almost Mango with alittle banana) alcohol comes through alot more, chocolate but very light, more like a milk chocolate.

Butterscotch and caramel carry all the way through.

I get the sweetness but I didn't find it overwhelming, it was balanced and came from the Caramel and Butterscotch instead of being artifical.

Would make a bloody good eliquid!

Suprisingly, apart from the creaminess, I can't see where Irish Cream would fit into it.

I'll throw a few suggestions in for flavourings...

Dulce De Leche (FW)
Cream Fresh (FA)
Butterscotch (FA)
Bavarian Cream (TFA)
Bourbon (TFA) or Whisky (FA)

I could see those fitting but would be interested more in Rum and Raisin as mentioned before to sub out Biurbon/whisky.

Tiramsu would work very well, adds a cream aswell as the chocolate note and the coffee from Tiramsu would push the butterscotch.

If we all throw a list together, I'll happily stick an order in for the flavourings, can send samples out to those who want them and we can get it going. Anyone else fancy grabbing some flavours and giving a few mixes ago, fantastic.

That's well said all through, my issue is my taste buds/ sinuses: vaping, drinking and eating, I cant go as deep on flavour descriptions, as you (or others). Fruit wise, I've been convinced mango plays a big part, just wondering about the sour and bitter follow through, which to me, is definitely there.

I might be totally wrong but Flv Milk & Honey is made for this recipe, I get no honey at all, just an amazing Butterscotch.

One of you two that have the drink to hand need to narrow down where the alcohol element is coming from.

Bavarian Cream isn't a bad shout but think it would want something a little thicker like Hangsen Italian Cream and definitely not Cream Fresh it's too thin and clean.
Catalan maybe in a small amount as it's got that Custard feel about it.

I'd say in my humble opinion that it would do the recipie a disservice if it didn't contain it's name sake and from your description @Chris K about the mango and banana i think the inawera one sounds on the money.

BTW I'm a few flavours short and am not about to order from inawera direct for one flavour.
