@John R I’ve just bought one of these but haven’t used it yet as it’s just finishing drying off after a a clean. Please could you tell me a bit more as to what’s wrong with it or what you don’t like about it?

From what I can make out it seems to like simple round wire and you have to set the coil at the right hight. Or you have problems.
But you may get on with it, also the wicking is vital with this tank if you look on Dovpo website mate.

All that faffing about isn't for me, mid fifties, dexterity issues and typical middle-aged vision aren't adding to the feel good factor with this one. I'm not saying it's shit for everyone, for me though....

You sound just like me as I’m around the same age and I have the same problems with eyesight and dexterity in fact I’m another year older today which is not something I enjoy anymore lol. I have just read the thread all about the issues that you had with this RTA so I have a better idea about it now.

Happy Birthday mate, the only things that I found to be critical with the Single is to make sure you use a 2.5ID coil, it can get quite cramped in there otherwise and the airflow becomes really restricted. Fancy coils like aliens and such didn't work for me, I tried a roundwire build but have now settled on an MTL fused clapton at about 0.35Ω. And the wicking must be looser than you would usually use, especially when going through the juice holes, if it's not it will just choke up when it expands and you'll end up with dry hits.
